Hello! I'm Simon and I'm a digital artist with interests in illustration, character design, and animation. I have a Certificate of Digital Illustration from Las Positas College, while also taking extracurricular art classes at Chabot College. 

I've been making art from a very young age, and (much like other artists) I'd been told the tale of the starving artist. "𝘠𝘰𝘶'𝘳𝘦 𝘯𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘨𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘢 𝘭𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵." So I dropped all art classes in freshman year of high school. I QUICKLY realized that I was miserable and I needed to be creating to feel satisfied. I've been pursuing art ever since. 

I've been heavily inspired by anime, cartoons, and vibrant pop art illustrations. Fantasy worlds speak to me, as broad, imaginative worlds can be brought to life by artists like myself. 

You may be wondering now...about the big spoon I'm leaning on. I found that spoon just laying on a shelf in a thrift store. It called out to me. I had to have it, and I was able to acquire the utensil for a whopping 9 dollars. No one.....has a spoon like mine. ;)
